Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters. When we publish something wrong, we fix it openly.

How to request a correction

Email corrections@heroesmedia.ng with the article URL, the specific claim, and the evidence supporting your correction.

How we handle corrections

• Typos / formatting: fixed silently within 24 hours.
• Factual errors: the article is updated, a "Correction" note is appended at the bottom with the date and what changed, and the article's dateModified is updated.
• Material errors: a standalone correction notice is posted on the homepage for 48 hours.

Retractions

If a story is shown to be fundamentally false, it is retracted with a clear notice in place of the original article.
