Chidi navigates through Lagos traffic

Chidi was having a slow morning in Yaba, her three side hustles - selling second-hand clothes, offering makeup services, and hawking snacks - were not yielding the usual returns. Na so we see am oh, she thought to herself, maybe it's time to switch things up. Just then, her phone buzzed with an alert from a potential client, asking to meet up at the University of Lagos. Chidi grabbed her bag and headed out, navigating through the notorious Lagos traffic with ease - for her, traffic is a state of mind.

Meanwhile in Enugu, Ada was rushing to her 9am lecture, juggling her study group notes, WhatsApp gossip channel, and TikTok drafts. Guys, this is not the vibe, she thought, feeling overwhelmed. As she sat in class, her mind began to wander, thinking about her fledgling TikTok and how she could grow her online presence. After the lecture, she decided to take a stroll around the campus, clearing her head and brainstorming ideas.

Tomi, on the other hand, was in Lagos, pitching his fintech startup to anyone who would listen. We're basically Stripe for Nigeria, he exclaimed to a group of unimpressed students. Feeling defeated, he decided to take a break and grab a snack from a vendor. That's when he met Chidi, who was waiting for her client. They struck up a conversation, and Tomi, being Tomi, started pitching his startup to her. Chidi, however, was more interested in the potential client she was waiting for.

As fate would have it, the client was none other than Ada, who had traveled to Lagos for a campus event. The three of them met, and Chidi, seeing an opportunity, proposed an idea - what if they collaborated to create a platform that connected campus entrepreneurs with potential clients? Tomi's eyes lit up - We're basically Stripe for Nigeria, but for campus entrepreneurs! Ada, intrigued, thought Guys, this is not the vibe, but maybe it could work. And just like that, a promising business idea was born, one that would bring together the resourcefulness of Chidi, the online savvy of Ada, and the fintech expertise of Tomi.

As they exchanged numbers and made plans to meet up again, Chidi couldn't help but think Na so we see am oh - sometimes, all it takes is a chance encounter to change the game.
